The Faculty
At Kiel University, Business Administration is represented by two institutes:
- the
Institute of Business Administration and
- the Institute for Innovation Research
Both institutes are
assigned to the Faculty of Business,
Economics and Social Sciences (which in turn is one out of eight faculties
at Kiel University).
This
faculty also includes:
- the Department of Economics,
- the
Institute for Quantitative Business and Economic Research (QBER),
- the
Institute for Regional Research,
- the
Institute of Statistics and Econometrics and
- the
Institute of Social Sciences.

The Faculty in numbers
A total of 24,207
students were studying at Kiel University in the academic term 2013/2014.
The study programs related to business administration and economics registered 3,116
students in total. 1,146 students were registered in courses of business administration
(or related) whereas 1,039 focussed their studies on economics (or related). 331
students majored other fields related to social sciences. Furthermore
1,867 foreign students were enrolled.
